This is the wreath I decorated for Kyle this year...at the house.

...at the cemetary

Christmas Day...

Christmas Day

The tree on Christmas Eve, after Santa's visit.

Nina's big gift gift....polka dot Vans. She picked them out, so she knew what she was getting...we just made her wait a bit longer (see previous post about her birthday).

Christopher's big gift was an Xbox 360...he wasn't just a little surprised. We had told him Walmart was out the day we went.....what we didn't tell him was we had also gone to Target.

And Kraig primary gift was a camera. He is forever wanting to take pictures with mine...and I am always afraid he will drop it...so now he has his own. Unlike the other children, he was not told or otherwise participate in the picking of his gift....but when asked what Santa was bringing him, his answer was a camera. He also got a bicycle and a couple other gifts.

And this is the display for Kyle. We took a wreath to the cemetary (pictures in another post), but the angels and candles are at home. Each year, we buy a figurine of some sort at Christmas. The first is the figurine Chris got me when they were born, then beginning 2005 (the teddy bear) to 2008 (the angel with the snowglobe). We always light a candle at Christmas and other holidays.

Ornaments

There is a place at the mall that has all kinds of Christmas ornaments.....we were there last week and had these two made. The names are handwritten.....

Kraig's School Christmas Party

He has done so well at school.....I knew going to his Christmas program would be a huge test. But he did really really well. We were a few minutes late, so they were already singing when we got there. He started crying as soon as we walked in the door...but he stayed in his seat....he was so cute, trying to sing and wanting to get up.

They planned the party to coincide with lunch....this is his place setting.

They also played a game after lunch.....they passed wrapped books in a circle to music....when the music stopped, they got to keep the gift they had in their hands.

This is his teacher....there are two assistants, but he wouldn't let me take a picture with them.

Nina's Birthday

My baby girl turned 18 on the 13th. I feel so old! I still can't fathom that in a few months she'll be going to college...I miss her already!
She wanted a double layer cookie cake....and we put 18 candles on it.

She had a few friends over to watch movies and play Nintendo....and one of the girls spent the night. We played a trick on her regarding her gift....we had ordered her a pair of shoes a couple of weeks ago for Christmas. On black Friday, we went shopping and got her another gift....hadn't decided which we were going to give her. She had asked for the shoes to be given for her birthday....so we gave her the shoe.....box. We put the other gift in the box...so she thought she was getting Vans.

She realized soon enough that she got a new iPod.....

Christmas in Collierville

The Collierville Christmas tree at town square was lit Dec. 2

Kraig loved the lights. The other 2 children didn't want to come or had too much homework, so it was just us. (Mom took the picture.)

Kraig at the Collierville Christmas Parade....it was downright cold.

My three boys keeping warm at the parade. A band was going by at the time....Kraig doesn't like loud noises....hence the hands over his ears.

And.....our outside decorations...

Kyle is 4!!

Kyle turned 4 on November 4th.....however, he spent his birthday in Heaven.

This is one of the cupcakes I made for his birthday.

Kraig helped.....

Each year, we buy rose petals to sprinkle at the cemetary. Kraig gets a little more involved each year as well....he sprinkled most of them. He also blows kisses and says hi and bye to Kyle when we go.

We don't have a headstone yet, so we can't leave flowers there, so we take a balloon and rose petals. Usually we leave the balloon for a week, but there was a storm this week, so we picked it up early.

Kraig is 4!!!

Kraig turned 4 on November 4....he had a small party at home. Two little boys from church, and a little girl from school.

Since the weather was so nice, they played outside for a bit....Duck Duck Goose, Simon Says, and Red Light Green Light.

The gifts....

The cake...

And eating the cake....
