Well, I am recovering from carpal tunnel release surgery. Chris has been seeing an orthopedist for his knee and I asked the dr. if he treated carpal tunnel. Two weeks later, I'm in the operating room. He told me I'm too young to have wrists this bad. And apparently, according to what he told Chris today, my the carpal tunnel was worse than the nerve study indicated. I'll get the stitches out in 12 days, then in about a month I'll have my right hand done.
Chris will have an MRI on Monday....his knee is not feeling any better. He is still in alot of pain, can't sleep. The medicine takes the edge off, but it's still swelling. Physical therapy didn't do anything for him either....so he'll have the MRI, then see the doctor on Tuesday, and he'll dicuss further treatment options, which will most likely be another visit to the surgery center.
