Christmas Tree Lighting

Since we moved to the town in which we've lived, we've always gone to the Christmas Tree Lighting.  It is not a very dramatic event, but it's fun nonetheless.  They always have free hot chocolate, 3D glasses, school choirs singing Christmas carols, and of course Santa.

And this event had to be documented on film...Christopher is reading of his own accord.  The fact that it is a book by/about Michael Orr (sp?) ...(subject of the Blind Side for those that live under a rock)....had absolutely EVERYTHING to do with it!

Last year we bought a family ornament at a kiosk at the mall....and decided we liked it enough to do it each year.  We waited a bit too late to go this year in that the selection wasn't as great, but the benefit was....

we got one free.

My  mom bought these for her grandchildren....she got two because there were no ornaments with space for 10 names.
